ACPL, established in 1989, is incorporated for transportation of Industrial Goods
and logistics service provider, with a strong presence in Maharashtra, Karnataka,
Gujarat and Goa region, along with an extensive network across western India
providing timely deliveries to 130+ branches, covering 75 districts, and 2100
customer desk location in southern and western part of India. Refined vehicle
tracking systems, technologically superior container vehicles and Service Quality
Standardization were all introduced to strengthen and enhance ACPL’s promise of
superior service delivery.

ACPL introduced door-to-door service to meet different customer class in the market
in 1989. As ACPL grew in terms of business volume, services and revenue, ACPL made
the transition from small cargo services to cargo and logistics management. ACPL
expanded its service network to include multi-modal services and interstate
operations. The Business grew from servicing single region like Satara to multiple
24 regions across the western and southern part of India.
Technology and Process
To have a marketing focus, operational efficiency and improve service quality, ACPL
reorganized professional use of technology in business operations. It has
established separate verticals and corporate function. By implementing performance
metrics and evaluations across the services, HR and operations ACPL became a
process-oriented organization.
During this time, to keep itself on its toes, ACPL kept revisiting its basic value
proposition – in time service delivery. In 2007, ACPL web was launched and which in

customers focused on their core business, ACPL implemented CRM module to enhance
